Documents in the archives of the municipality of Roermond show that Lilli Lucie Moses was married, on January 8, 1932 in Marienwerder, Germany. Towards the end of 1939 she arrived in Rotterdam from Berlin, where, from 22 December, she lived at the Stadhoudersplein 18 b. Later she moved to Jezuïtenstraat 19 in Roermond and then to Kerkstraat 1. Lilli Lucie Simon-Moses was a ‘Paramedistin’ (paramedical therapist) by profession.
Lillie Lucie Simon-Moses had two children. Her oldest child was brought from Germany to England with one of the Kindertransporten and thus survived the war.
