Mietje Blitz was a daughter of Isaac Blitz and Keetje Schoenlapper from Almelo. She married Israel de Magtige in Amsterdam on 18 March 1942, a son of Elkan de Magtige and Maria de Raay.
Mietje de Magtige-Blitz lived at the same address with her cousin Mietje de Groot-Blitz and her husband.
Mietje had three other sisters, Rachel, Parle and Sientje who have been killed too during the Holocaust.
