Hendrika Zwart was a daughter of Jacob Zwart and Esther Groen. She married 12 November 1913 in Amsterdam to Maurits Leijden van Amstel, a son of Meijer Leijden van Amstel and Femmetje Abas.
Hendrika was born in a family with ten siblings, of whom one brother has died in 1899, only 2 years old and one sister, who probably has survived the war. The others, who did not survive the Holocaust were Sara, Roosje, Mozes, Ruben, Juda, Jetje and Salomon.
