Jacob Levy Roos read medicine in Amsterdam, where he sat for his medical finals in 1918.
From May 1941, when he was only allowed to treat Jewish patients, he lived and practised medicine as a family doctor at 72 Beethovenstraat in Amsterdam. Before that date he lived and worked at Oosterpark 84 in OAmsterdam.
