Rachel Rodrigues Garcia was a daughter of Elias Rodrigues Garcia and Rachel Leeda. She married 27 December 1905 in Amsterdam to Mozes de Hond, a son of Emanuel de Hond and Juda Aalsvel. The couple had five children, of whom only Benjamin has been killed during the Holocaust. The other chidren survived the war, just as their father Mozes de Hond. He remarried 12 years after the war but died one year after his marriage.
Rachel was born in a family with seven children: she self, Rachel, Mozes, Hanna, Rika, Benjamin, Rebecca and Clara. They have been killed all during the Holocaust.
