Isaac Aandagt was a son of Jacob Aandagt and Rebecca Sliet. He married 29 April 1925 in Amsterdam to Aaltje Kool, a daughter of Elias Kool and Elisabeth Elzas, but they divorced 22 September 1934. The couple had six children: Jacob, Elias, Rebecca, Joseph and Elisabeth. Their sixth child has been born after the divorce, named Asser, who stayed with his mother.
On 19 December 1934, Isaac Aandagt married again to Johanna Amalia van Heun.
The other eight of his eleven siblings, who have been killed during the Holocaust were Betje, Mozes, Matthea, Hartog, Rachel, Philip, David andNaatje.
