Joseph Hanf has fled Germany. He lived at 31 Michelangelostraat, first floor, in Amsterdam. Halfway through 1942, the SD rounded Joseph Hanf up from his home. He was so ill (or pretending to be) that the SD agreed to return the next day. Joseph Hanf fled the same day and went into hiding. When the SD came for him the next day and did not find him at home, they broke open a cupboard with valuables.
