Salomon Jacobs was the third child of Jacob Jacobs and Roosje Sternfeld. Like his father, he was a cattle dealer and butcher in the village of Laag-Keppel.
On the 8th of October 1941, during a large scale razzia in the province of Gelderland, he was held up. He died in Mauthausen.

Salomon Jacobs was a good friend of his cousin and brother-in-law Maurits Sternfeld.
