Wolf Spangenthal was married to Anna Lob. She died in 1936. They had seven children, of whom three survived the war. A daughter Rosa passed away in 1923. Three children perished during the war: Estella, Hugo and Jacobus. Wolf Spangenthal obtained the Dutch nationality in 1898.
