Tina Heimann was the daughter of a cattle dealer from Schwanfeld, where her parents owned a farm. On 28 March 1940 she arrived at the Hof van Moerkerken youth aliyah home in Mijnsheerenland, where she joined the management and as such was in charge of housekeeping. She also taught needlework and instructed wards how to milk cows, which she had learned to do at home on the farm. When the home in Mijnsheerenland was closed on 16 October 1940, she accompanied the wards to the youth aliyah home in Loosdrecht. She continued her work there, until the home in Loosdrecht was closed as well.
She went into hiding but was betrayed and caught in March 1943 and deported to Sobibor.
