Adolf Frankenstein was not married and born in Labischin in Mid Poland. In 1937 he came from Berlin to Amsterdam, where he lived at Valeriusstraat 85, where also his sister Sara Frankenstein lived and who was married to Josef Grünfeld from Tarnow (Poland). Josef passed away in 1938 in Berlin, but his spouse Sara survived the war. This couple had a daughter, Fanny Grünfeld, married to Kurt Walter Rüttinger and who lived also in Amsterdam
Also this couple survived the war.
Adolf Frankenstein stayed also some period in Luxemburg after his stay in Amsterdam but he sollicitated finally in Februray 1940 at the Municipality of Amsterdam for a vendor permit, which was him allowed the 10th of February 1941.
As residence Aldof Frankenstein has submitted: Beethovenstraat 4 in Zaandam, which is written down on his vendor permit.
