Juda Erwteman was a son of Hijman Erwteman and Heintje Polak. He went already in 1924 to Antwerp in order to earn a living in the diamond industry.
Juda Erwteman was unmarried.
He was deported from Drancy in France to Auschwitz on 24 August 1942 with Convoy nr. 23.
Juda was born in a family with six children, of whom his sister Schoontje as survived the war, however, a few months later already on 3 June 1945 she passed away in Antwerp. His other siblings, Soesman, Simon, Jetje and Hartog have been killed all during the Holocaust
