Isaak Samson grew up in the old Jewish quarter in Amsterdam. He earned a living as a peddler in rags and tatters. In 1935 he married. Isaak Samson and his wife had one child. In 1941 the family moved from the Nieuwe Amstelstraat to the Rapenburgerstraat. During a razzia on 22 February 1941 Isaak Samson was apprehended and via camp Schoorl deported to Mauthausen.
