Bertha Weijl was a daughter of Calaman Hirsch Weijl and Roosje Benjamin Heijmans. She was married to Jacob Vecht. The couple lived at 3 Rhijnvis Feithlaan in Zwolle. Their daughter Helena and son Charles with his wife and three children lived at the same address.
