About Herman Troostwijk

On behalf of the Sicherheitspolizei in Zwolle, the Police Commissioner requested that 44 Jews, suspected of having changed their place of residence temporarily without the required authorization, be located, detained and brought to trial. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding. Herman Troostwijk, merchant, was one of those 44 people originating from Zwolle in hiding.

In February 1943, another search notice was issued for Herman Troostwijk. The police commissioner of the State and Municipal Police in Zwolle requested that Herman Troostwijk, living at 200 Molenweg in Zwolle, be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
