Alfred Weihl started a company for the fabrication of saddle-covers on 1 July 1933 on Thorbeckegracht 17. On 1 September 1933 the company was registered as the N. V. “Welma, Zwolsche Lederwarenfabriek” and moved to Diezerstraat 90. Half August 1934 the company was dissolved.
