A neighbourhood boy remembers how Bennie had a stamp collection. The two of them would go to the stamp collectors club at Pieters Kerkhof in Utrecht.
When Bennie's family had to report for transport at the Maliebaan station, Bennie gave the collection to his friend. The stamp collection is still in tact and is now part of the collection of the Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam.
