According to his death certificate at the Drents Archive, Levie Cohen was a son of Grietje Lea Philippus van Bergen and brother of Philip Cohen. According to the Utrechts archive his father was working as a sales representative around the time of Levie's birth. Levie lived with Barend Cohen and Jetha de Liver.
