Mozes Levisson originated from Klikow in Russia. He settled in Dordrecht where he ran a small hotel. He got married to Jette Boers with whom he had ten children. The children all survived the war through hiding. From a previous marriage he had two other children who had migrated to the United States.
In the 1940's Mozes Levisson grew demented and was placed in a home for the elderly in Poortugaal. There he died in 1943. He was buried in Dordrecht.
