Aaltje Grietje van Oss-van der Heijden was the widow of Levie van Oss (1878-1935). With her late husband, she had two children. Lodewijk van Oss was her son. During the 1920's, she had some of her nephews living with her family. Among them was Emil Johan van der Heijden. In 1935, after her husband passed away, she moved from Hengelo to Groningen.
