Seline Schoonhoed came from a family of six children. She was the sister of Roosje, Jonas, Mietje and Hartog. One sibling survived the war. Her father had a wholesale business in vegetables and fruit. Seline had a grocer’s shop together with her husband at the Repelaerstraat in Den Haag.
