Barend Hagenaar was the son of Emanuël Hagenaar and Anna Delden.
Barend was married to a non-Jew. They had three children. The Germans picked him up after receiving a tip about his location. When he arrived at Camp Westerbork, he was placed in the punishment barracks (barracks 66). He was deported shortly after.
