Mathilda Appelboom was a daughter of Samuel Appelboom and Roosje Sluijzer. She was married to Salomon Kloot from Rotterdam (probably in the early years of WWII), a son of Nathan Kloot and Leentje Frenkel. She lived at the address Jan Blankenstraat 41 in Den Haag with her mother and siblings but her spouse lived still at the address of his own parents.
Mathilde Appelboom had five other siblings: Salomon, Levie, Mozes, Abraham and Dina. One brother has survived the Holocaust. The others and Mathilda self were killed in the Shoah.
