Simon Davidson was a son of Jakob Davidson and Jantje de Jong. He married Hanna Naarden on 4 September 1918 in Amsterdam, a daughter of Salomon Naarden and Vrouwtje Hekster.
The family he was born in, counted seven children: besides a sister who probably has deceased before the war and a brother who has survived the war, his other siblings Sara, David Jakob, Iseroos, Mendes and he himself were all killed during the Holocaust.
