Mozes Tertaas was a son of Philip Tertaas and Eva Emden. He married 14 June 1916 in Amsterdam to Sientje Brilleslijper, a daughter of Levie Brilleslijper and Judith Grijsaart.
The couple had two children: Philip, as mentioned here and Eva.
