Jeannette Pront, a daughter of Hartog Pront and Sara Werkheim, was born in a family with twelve children; her parents aswell one sister and one unmarried brother have passed away before the war. However not her brothers Mozes, Izak, Simon and Willem nor her sisters Mietje, Grietje, Elisabeth, Naatje and Rosalina. They all have been killed during the Holocaust.
Jeannette Pront married 26 November 1913 to Hartog Walvis, a son of Zacharias Walvis and Fijtje Posener. From this marriage, their daughter Sophia was born.
On 13 November 1918, the marriage was ended by divorce in Zaandam and on 14 April 1920, Jeannette Pront remarried Levie Goudeketting, a son of Benjamin Goudeketting and Mietje Teeboom.
Jeannette and Levie had another two children: Mietje and Hartog.
