Salomon de Haas was a son of Henri de Haas and Rosetta Aptroot. He married in Amsterdam on 1 July 1942 to Jeanette de Wolff, daughter of Hartog de Wolff and Aaltje la Balance.

A scrapbook remains from the wedding of Sal de Haas and Netty de Wolff. They became engaged on 7 January 1940 and were married on 1 July 1942. The civil ceremony was held at the Hollandsche Schouwburg on the Plantage Middenlaan in Amsterdam at 10.30 AM. The huppa was at 11.30 AM in the New Synagogue on the Jonas Daniël Meijerplein.
The scrapbook lists the names of the dozens of guests along with their signatures and features the texts of the songs sung, details about the dinner and several photographs.
The wedding announcement lists 57 Gerard Terborgstraat, third floor, in Amsterdam as their future address.
