About Leo Herman Frijda

Leo Herman Frijda was unmarried. He studied medicine. He was a member of the sabotage group CS-6. He was involved, among other things, in the successful attack on lieutenant-general Seyffardt, the commander of the Volunteers' Legion in the Netherlands (5 February 1943), in the attack on the railway in Rietlanden (March 1943) and the elimination of the agitator Blom.

On 20 August 1943, Leo Herman Frijda was caught in Amsterdam. In September 1943, the trial took place in front of the Polizeistandgericht in Amsterdam against the arrested members of the CS-6 group. On 30 September, 19 members of the group were condemned to death. The next day, the sentence was executed in Overveen. Leo Herman Frijda was among them. Hij was buried in the Military cemetery of Bloemendaal.
