Mietje Henriëtte Gompers was married. They had three children. The family lived in Amsterdam. She actively assisted people going into hiding. Due to the undisciplined behaviour of a woman in hiding, she was caught on 30 August 1942.

The funeral records at the Jewish cemetery in Arnhem reveal that a memorial stone is placed for Mietje Henriëtte Gomperts.
