Mozes Franschman was a son of Lemon (Leman?) Franschman and Naatje Doof. He married 22 April 1903 in Amsterdam to Rachel Franschman, a daughter of Lammert Franschman and Rachel Toledo. The couple had eleven children: Anna, Lehman, Rebecca, Celine, Deboara, Leendert, David, Daniël, Jacob, Benjamin and Karel, who all have been killed during the Holocaust.
