Levie Aandagt was a son of David Isaac Aandagt and Anna Presser. He was married in Amsterdam on 26 January 1938 to Femmy Crost, from whom he has been divorced on 5 November 1941. Thereupon Levie remarried on 4 March 1942 Betje Slagter, daughter of Samuel Slagter and Jeanette Aronius.
