Sally Swaab was a son of Salomon Levie Swaab and Sara Swaab. He married 15 August 1923 in Amsterdam to Sara Meljado, a daughter of Joseph Meljado and Duifje Os. Toghether they had in 1924 their daughter Selina.
On 21 October 1939 Sara Meljado passed away and she was interred in the Jewisch Cemetery in Diemen.
On 10 April 1940 Sally Swaab remarried Klaartje Viskoper, a daughter of Benjamin Viskoper and Anna van Bever. His 2nd wife have survived the war.
Sally Swaab was born in a family with in total elven children, of whom two children have died very young and four daughters have survived the war, however one brother-in-law, Mozes Wegloop, just as Sally's other siblings: Ruben Salomon, Mozes, Barend and Rebecca Mietje, have been killed all during the Holocaust.
