Flora Wurms was a daughter of David Wurms and Vrouwtje Witzenhausen. She married 6 November 1929 in Amsterdam to Nathan Nunes Vas, son of Abraham Nunes Vas and Sara Caransa.
Flora's siblings, who did not survive the Holocaust either, were Sara, Esther and Henriette.
