Selina Voorzanger, born in 1921 in Rotterdam, was a daughter of Isaac Voorzanger and Jansje Park. She was one of the nine children in this family, of whom presumably two brothers and two sisters might have survived the war. The Voorzanger family lived sometimes in Belgium and sometimes in Holland but resided at Bikschotelaan 159 at Berchem (province of Antwerp) which was their last known address. Her brothers Emanuel and Abraham and sisters Esther and Elisabeth, as also her parents have been killed in the Shoah.
Selina Voorzanger has been deported on 8 September 1942 with Convoy VIII from Mechelen to Auschwitz, which has arrived there on 10 September 1942 and where she was killed on 11 September 1942.
