Alice May was born in Bochum (Germany) and came with her husband Fritz Mohr from Berlin to Rotterdam, where they have been registered in the Peoples Registry on 18 September 1933. Her parents, Norbert May and Rika Silberberg, resided already since 11 Mei 1933 at Diergaardelaan 20C in Hillegersberg. Also her sister Edith lived since July 1934 in Rotterdam.
Due to lack of space to sleep at the address of her parents, her husband Fritz Mohr was looking for anonother address where they could stay, looking in the meantime for a dwelling of his own. He found that at Henegouwerplein 56 and later at Schepenstraat 82B. Per 20 November 1934 they reisded at Bijlwerffstraat 15B. In the meantime their daughter Renate was born on 6 January 1934 in Rotterdam and 19 June 1936 the family moved th Den Haag, where they first resided at Hendrik Zwaardecroonstraat 44 but moved again 22 April 1938 to Apeldoornschelaan 23, also in Den Haag.
Her sister Edith lived since July 1934 in with the family Morh at Bijlwerffstraat but per 25 Januari 1941 her address became Waldecklaan 20 in Hilversum.
