Mozes Hoffmann was a son of Raphaël Hoffmann and Vrouwtje Jacob Turk. He married 8 May 1890 in Amsterdam to Marianna Sluijter, a daughter of Salomon Aron Sluijter and Sara Salomon Dingsdag. However, she passed away already on 22 December 1918.
The couple had four children: one son died when he was 19 years old, one daughter survived the war, but the two other children, Rosette and Andries have been killed during the Holocaust.
