Anna Hes was a daughter of Alexander Hes and Hester van Leeuwen. She was the widow of Simon Kahn.

Anna Hes fled in the thirties from Germany to Zaltbommel. She started a clothes shop there (baby clothes, embroideries, silk and wool) with the help of her brother.
