Hulda Baden-Waldauer, born 28 May 1856 in Bütow (Pommern), was a daughter of Rachel Waldauer. The name of her father is not known. She was widowed from Max Baden. It is not known when Hulda Baden-Waldauer arrived in The Netherlands. Known is however that at the time of the obligatory registration of the Jews in Holland, she was registered per 1 October 1941 at the "Israëlitisch Oudeliedengesticht" (Israëlitic Old Peoples Home) at Claes de Vrieselaan 70 in Rotterdam. She was 85 years old at the time.
Hulda Baden-Waldauer was deported to Westerbork 15 October 1942. She stayed in the baracks 70 and 81. On 27 January 1943 she was hospitalized for about 6 days and was released from there 2 February 1943. That same day howerver she was put on transport to Auschwitz and on arrival there 5 February 1943 at the age of nearly 87 years, she was immediately killed.
