Jozef Swartberg was the manager of Joz. Swartberg’s Trading Company. He mainly dealed with subtropical fruit. In 1938 he took over the trading concern Damco. This concern produced raw materials for patisseries. Some of the products were powders for baker’s cream, ice powder and almond paste.
