Mozes van der Glas was a son of Jesaya Joel van der Glas and Naatje Schaap. He married 24 June 1891 in Amsterdam to Esther Berkelo, daughter of Coenraad Samuel Berkelo and Betje Salomon Levie. Esther passed away in Amsterdam on 9 October 1930.
The couple had five children of whom two sons have survived the Holocaust. Jesaya, Elisabeth and ((520784|Naatje) have been killed in extermination camps.
