Karel Abram was a son of Marcus Abram and Anna van Dam. He married Rebecca van Leeuwen in 1907. Together they had two children. She died in 1913. Karel Abram remarried in 1916 with Klaartje Brandon. They had four children.
Karel was born in a family of five children; both his sisters Jetje and Saartje have passed away before the war, but his siblings Barend and Mozes have been killed during the Holocaust too.
