Catharina Polak was a daughter of Mozes Jozef Polak and Grietje Mozes Monnickendam. She was the mother of Jozeph Troostwijk.

Catharina Polak was married to Mozes Troostwijk. The couple lived at 28 Eekwal in Zwolle. Catharina Troostwijk-Polak was a businesswoman. In December 1941, an obituary was placed in Het Joodsche Weekblad for C. Troostwijk-Polak.
