Abraham Polak was a son of Levie Polak and Grietje Slap. He married in Amsterdam on 6 December 1917 to Duifje Brilleslijper, daughter of Isaac Brilleslijper and Naatje Kool.
His other siblings, who also were killed during the Holocaust were Klaartje, Hijman, Rebecca, Esther and Meijer.
