Benedictus Lap was married. He and his wife had a child. The family lived in Amsterdam. He was a shop assistant. Benedictus Lap helped Jews in hiding by arranging addresses to hide, identification cards and ration coupons. He refused to wear a star.
Benedictus Lap's wife survived the war.
