Wolf Schaap was the son of Gompel Wolf Schaap and Hendrina Walvisch. He married 16 November 1804 in Amsterdam to Rebecca Sealtiel, a daughter of Isaac Sealtiel and Sara Loezen. Beside the here mentioned daughter, Wolf and Rebecca had another daughter, born in 1907 and who died in 1908.
Wolf Schaap had six other brothers: Abraham, Salomon, Jonas, Joseph, Mozes and Hartog who also have been killed during the Holocaust. His only sister has survived the war.
