Hijman Slap and Rachel Mok had two children: Jacob, and a daughter who was married to a non-Jewish man. Their daughter survived the war, but was forced to undergo sterilization. She also decided to be baptised as a Christian in order to escape persecution. Before the war, she had had four children. Two of them were temporarily lodged in the Apeldoornse Bos. They ran away before the mass-deportation of the patients. Another child was hidden with the Augustinessen (a nunnery) in Utrecht. All four children survived.
