Abraham Haringman was a son of Salomon Haringman and Elisabeth Kopuit. Together with his sister Annaatje he lived at the Wagenaarstraat in Amsterdam.
Abraham worked in the factory Friticia that belonged to the Vleeschhouwer family.

In 1942 Abraham Haringman was forced to labour at Geesbrug, where the occupying forces had located one of the Jewish labour camps. Several letters and photos from this period are kept at the Jewish Historical Museum.
