Rebecca Brilleman was a daughter of Izaak Hartog Brilleman and Aaltje Andries Kollem. She married Hartog Baars in Amsterdam on 21 August 1895, a son of Joel Baars and Doortje Bleekrode. Hartog passed away in 1935. Together they had three children: Alida, Doortje en Joel.
