Abraham Gobes was a son of Moses Gobes and Grietje Serlui. He married on 25 November 1909 in Amsterdam to Elisabeth Premseler, daughter of Levie Premseler and Lotje Sons.
Besides the seven children listed here they also had the following children who died during the war. Louis, Julie and Charlotta. One son, Maurits, has survived the Holocaust and a baby daughter Carla died only one month old.

Abraham Gobes had twelve children, among whom Greta, who lived and worked in Den Haag. Only one of his children survived the war. One babydaughter has passed away, only one month old.
