Femmetje Monnikendam was a daughter of Abraham Salomon Monnikendam and Schoontje Wijnberg. She married ìn Zaandam on 16 May 1900 to Hartog Wertheim, son of Samuel Hartog Wertheim and Roza Prijs. Hartog died in June 1928 and was buried the 12th of that month at Muiderberg. The couple had two children: Abraham and Roza.
